Strawberries and Cream

Ingredients
  • strawberries (approx. 15 medium)
  • 2 puff pastry sheets, thawed
  • cream cheese, softened
  • sugar

Instructions
  1. Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a baking sheet with wax paper and spray with cooking spray.
  2. Chop strawberries into small pieces and remove the stems, place in a small bowl.
  3. Use a potato masher to mash the strawberries and add in a little bit of sugar, depending on how sweet you want your mixture to be.
  4. On your baking sheet, lay one sheet of puff pastry and evenly spread with cream cheese.
  5. Drain the liquid out from your strawberry mixture and spread over the cream cheese. Then, place the remaining sheet of puff pastry on top.
  6. Cut the pastry into 9 squares and bake for 20-25 mins, or until golden brown. Remove from oven, and cool completely before serving.
