Strawberries and Cream
Ingredients
- strawberries (approx. 15 medium)
- 2 puff pastry sheets, thawed
- cream cheese, softened
- sugar
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 400° F. Line a baking sheet with wax paper and spray with cooking spray.
- Chop strawberries into small pieces and remove the stems, place in a small bowl.
- Use a potato masher to mash the strawberries and add in a little bit of sugar, depending on how sweet you want your mixture to be.
- On your baking sheet, lay one sheet of puff pastry and evenly spread with cream cheese.
- Drain the liquid out from your strawberry mixture and spread over the cream cheese. Then, place the remaining sheet of puff pastry on top.
- Cut the pastry into 9 squares and bake for 20-25 mins, or until golden brown. Remove from oven, and cool completely before serving.
