Irish Potato Casserole

Ingredients
  • 4 -6 pieces Irish Potatoes
  • 1 cup minced Meat
  • 2 cloves Garlic
  • 1/2 Onion( cut in large chunks)
  • 1 teaspoon white Pepper
  • 1 teaspoon fresh Thyme
  • 1 tablespoon Cornflour
  • 1/2 teaspoon dry Pepper
  • 1 table spoonful butter
  • 1 cooking spoon Vegetable Oil
  • 2 medium size Carrot sticks
  • Beef Seasoning cubes to taste
  • 1/2 cup water
  • Salt to taste

Instructions
  1. Peel, wash and cut potatoes into big chunks
  2. Season the minced meat with white pepper, fresh thyme, salt, pepper, and rub seasoning properly into the meat
  3. Heat the oil , fry the garlic for 1 minute.
  4. Add the minced meat, butter and onion chunks  and  cook for 5 minutes
  5. Add the potatoes , water and  lower the heat and cook till the potato is soft
  6. Add the carrots and Cornflour dissolved in 2 tablespoons water and cook for about 2 minutes. The corn flour should help to thicken the sauce..
  7. Correct seasoning and allow to cook for another minute and serve hot.
