Crockpot Applesauce

Crockpot Applesauce

Serves: 6-8

Ingredients
  • 3½ pounds apples, Transparent, Gala, or Delicious
  • ½ cinnamon stick or ½ Teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1 cup water

Instructions
  1. Peel (if desired), core, and quarter your apples. For firmer apples, slice the quarters to ¼-1/2 inch thick slices.
  2. Place apple with the rest of the ingredients in a 4-quart crockpot.
  3. Turn the crockpot to low and cook for 8-9 hours, (overnight), or cook over high for 4-5 hours.

Notes
I highly recommend a peeler-corer-slicer because it does all the work for you. You just run your apples through it and place them directly into the crockpot.
