Chocolate Pretzel Frozen Yogurt

Ingredients
  • 8 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • ¼ cup sugar
  • 17.6 oz Plain 0% fat greek yogurt
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pretzels, roughly chopped

Instructions
  1. Place a metal mixing bowl over a pot of hot water. Add chocolate to the bowl, gradually whisk to melt the chocolate. As the chocolate begins to melt add the sugar, ¼ cup greek yogurt, and vanilla to the bowl and whisk.
  2. Whisk until chocolate is melted and mixture is smooth. Remove from heat and let cool.
  3. In a large mixing bowl add remaining greek yogurt. Pour the chocolate mixture into the yogurt and blend.
  4. Turn on your ice cream maker and pour the mixture into the the bowl. Let the mix thickened for about 5-10 minutes. As the yogurt begins to reach desired consistency, add chopped pretzels a little at a time to incorporate.
  5. The yogurt will have a soft texture.
  6. You can place in freezer for firmer yogurt. Let stand about 10 minutes before serving.
