Snow Flake Cocoa Christmas Cookies

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter
• 1/4 cup shortening
• 1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 tsp vanilla
• 1 tsp salt
• 3/4 tsp baking powder
• 2/3 cup cocoa
• 3 cups flour

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, cream together butter, shortening and sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla until combined and then the baking powder and salt. Stir in cocoa until well blended.
2. Add flour 1 cup at a time and mix until a soft dough forms. Roll out onto a lightly floured surface and cut out your cookies using cookie cutters. Place them on a greased baking sheet at least 1" apart. Bake at 375 F for 6-7 minutes.
