Fresh Cherry Chocolate Chip Frozen Yogurt
Ingredients
- 32 oz 0% fat vanilla yogurt
- ½ c low fat buttermilk
- 1 Tbsp Stevia blend
- ½ cup fresh cherries, pitted and quartered
- ¼ cup mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Place quartered cherries on a paper towel and gently pat dry; set aside.
- Dissolve sugar in ½ cup of buttermilk in a small saucepan over medium heat. Remove from heat and let cool.
- In a large bowl mix vanilla yogurt and buttermilk together with a rubber spatula.
- Turn on ice cream maker and slowly add the yogurt mixture.
- As the yogurt begins to stiffen gradually add the cherries and mini chocolate chips.
- Continue to freeze according to manufactures directions.
